monitoring your ranking and submissions
Global Submissions will always monitor and notify you of the rankings from our submissions. We also have an online monitoring program that our clients can subscribe to that will allow them more control over their submission package.
The client is able to log in using his or her username and password, they are then taken to the server, where they will be able to see the real-time submissions and reports.
We have some clients that prefer this method, so that they can monitor their ranking and decide when they're ready for the next submission schedule.
Some of our clients opt for a monthly submission package, some chose the half-year and yearly submissions packages, to take advantage of the savings we offer.
For the clients that are just starting out and their budgets are limited, we work payment plans to fit all budgets. We also help many businesses, especially contractors, by taking advantage of bartering for trades.
if i've been #1 for over a year and now i'm on page two, now what?
If you were ranked high in the past and you see your site slipping in ranking, this is your cue to have your submissions resubmitted. This is often caused by your competitors viewing your high rankings and their desire to improve their own.
why would my sites ranking slip?
Global Submissions clients greatly benefit from professionally coded meta tags and coding which keeps their web site at the top of the search engines longer. If you have been at the top but have been slipping and you're not one of our clients, then it could be your coding.
We have noticed a growing trend on the Internet-- code theft.
Web sites are stealing code from each other, in a futile attempt to beat out their competitors by using their code. This is a disaster for the person who worked so hard to create that code. The competition is climbing over each other and clawing their way for position. The search engines are becoming burdened by such practices.
Once a client comes with us, all of their old coding is destroyed and we create a clean and fresh palette. What we will create will overwhelm your competition and leave them clamoring for any position left open.
Once we have submitted your site initially, we recommend that your site be submitted on one of our schedules to ensure that your site retains it's ranking for many years to come.
In the event you are in a "heavy" market (many competitors), it is always a good idea to follow and monitor your site closely.
While Global Submissions monitors all of our client's sites during the submissions process. Once the contracted submissions are completed, it is the client's responsibility to notify us when they are ready for additional service, with the exception of those under a scheduled maintenance program.
security at your server
If you believe your hosted web site is not secure, we may recommend that you move your site to another host server. We have had clients in the past that hosted their web site on servers outside the country; consequently, there was inadequate security and no backup recovery service. One client lost over $200,000 due to this type of practice. Additionally, we can often help you save money on all of your hosting needs. Please contact us if you feel you're site may have security issues.
How do we protect your site? We encrypt it. The reason is simple. If people can easily hack or access your account, they can easily download your content and coding, then use it to compete against your own site. You wouldn't want to pay for our service if your competition is going to have the same coding for free. We don't want our custom coding out there either. We guard our coding and protect it from those dishonest persons who would rather steal code than purchase it legally.
Be very cautious of whom you hire to do your search engine coding, optimization and submissions. We have clients that had been abused by a SEO company or "consultant". Some of their complaints:
- No coding - charged full price
- No traffic - charged full price
- Links to porn sites
- No links to their pages
- Taking their money and never starting or completing work
- Charging thousands of dollars and telling clients to follow their instructions to do the work on their own
- Charging thousands of dollars for copied code from their competitor(s)
If you or someone you know has been abused by an SEO company, please contact our office or pass along our information.
